Woven Wire Jewelry

At the workshop, we’ll experience the magic of weaving and breathe new life into recycled and ready-made materials, in the spirit of the festival. We’ll be working with copper. Through millennia, ancient civilizations have attributed magical properties to copper, using it for protection and crafting beautiful amulets from it. In two hours, using the wire weaving technique, we’ll shape copper into a pendant featuring a motif of the seprent - an ancient symbol of transformation and wisdom. For beginners, there will also be opportunity to craft simple rings, pendants, and bracelets, which we can decorate with small semi-precious stones.
