LUCID WAKING DREAM
The project is an act of artistic independence, born entirely outside commercial market logic. Philosophically, the research is rooted in the "nomadism of the educator" and the suspension of traditional institutional power dynamics. Performance, to me, is a political act and a tool for deep human connection. The workshop operates on the concept of Prosa Debole (Weak Prose) —a performative device that rejects the imposition of an authoritarian, absolute truth, inviting both the performer and the audience into a horizontal, co-creative, and deeply subjective experience.
Methodologically, the training utilizes a psychophysiological feedback model that integrates emotional bidirectionality, balancing top-down and bottom-up processes. It explores the character armour as an active, fluid state: identifying the personal somatic blockages the participant automatically wears, stripping them away through the breath, and learning to consciously wear and embody new, intentional armours that convert individual emotional energy into the exact geometry of scenic action. Furthermore, textual analysis is replaced by an investigative method of clue-driven suggestion, creating a triadic relationship that connects the creative urgency of the author, the bodily resonance of the performer, and the cultural needs of the local public.
The training bridges traditional theater techniques with contemporary psychophysiology, collective unconscious, and embodied mind theories, using the breath to connect them all and access authentic creative urgency.
