BIOGRAPHY Zvjezdana Dervić is a contemporary circus artist, aerial performer, and educator specialising in aerial silks, rope, and hoop. She has been working professionally in the field of aerial circus since 2009. Her work has been presented at international festivals and artistic projects across Europe, including Strabilio and Festival delle Arti Giudecca, as well as in a range of productions that merge contemporary circus, dance, and performance art. Alongside her performing career, she has led advanced and professional workshops in several European countries, focusing on aerial dynamics, movement research, composition, creative processes, and choreography. She has also directed competitive training groups and developed long-term educational programs for both children and adults. Based in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dervić develops artistic and educational projects at the intersection of contemporary circus, community engagement, and interdisciplinary performance. Her current artistic research explores the relationship between the body, nature, and personal transformation, creating poetic works that invite reflection on movement, identity, and the human experience.
