    "Recollections"

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the festival, a group exhibition of two photographers and a sculptor touches upon the issue of plastic and its use. Through problematising it, through attempts at reuse and alternative creative processes, the artists walk through the festival's ten-year archive, its development and its participants.

    "Ten - festival's graphics"

The exhibition consists of ten graphics of festival’s posters printed in black and white screen printing technique on wallpaper. The printer Danijela Zajc saved the discarded wallpaper a few years ago and found a new use for it. The Reciklart team cutted the posters out of the wallpaper, on which Danijela printed. The amount of material determined the size of the reprint, i.e. 8 copies per poster for 8 editions and 4 or 3 for two editions. Because the series is so small and because mistakes are cool, Danijela's reprint left its mark, and the posters became unique. Signed and numbered graphics will be available on donation.

    7. 8. 2024 – 4. 9. 2024

Daniel Leber, an Argentinian artist and art historian with Slovenian roots, presents himself at the Pešak Night Exhibition Gallery with a solo exhibition entitled "Hypersymbolism", which was created as part of his residency at Atelier Azil (ACC Metelkova). In his artistic research, the author combines the folk tradition of painted beehive endings with (South American) modernism and contemporary art. Leber created ten wooden end tables for the current exhibition, which are complemented by symbols painted on the walls.
